Top 5 Tuesday is a weekly tag hosted by Bionic Book Worm! Please head over and check out her blog!
It’s been months and months since I participated in Top 5 Tuesday, but I’m so excited to get back in the swing of things! This week’s topic is top 5 covers of 2019! We’ve had some gorgeous covers this year. Keep reading to see which ones are my favorite!
1. The Quiet at the End of the World by Lauren James
The cover for this is what made me pick it up! It’s so so gorgeous. You can’t tell from the picture, but the physical book has metallic accents, and is textured. The book also turned out to be really good! You can find my full review of The Quiet at the End of the World here!
2. Wilder Girls by Rory Power
This is another cover that drew me in immediately. I loved the color palette used, as well as the flowers. Unfortunately, the cover is the best thing about this book. I didn’t enjoy it as much as I hoped I would. You can find my full review of Wilder Girls here!
3. With the Fire on High by Elizabeth Acevedo
Gosh, look at that cover!!! The colors, Emoni’s gorgeous face!! I love it so much!!! This book also has a gorgeous bare back. I highly recommend giving it a peek if you ever get a chance! You can find my full review of With the Fire on High here!
4. The Queen of Nothing by Holly Black
When the cover for this leaked, people were really disappointed in it. I don’t really understand why, because I LOVE it! The soft purple color is beautiful, plus the broken crown. Sure, I don’t love snakes, but it looks cool on this one! I cannot wait to read it!!
5. Children of Virtue and Vengeance by Tomi Adeyemi
When I saw this cover for the first time it literally took my breath away. She’s GORGEOUS. I loved the cover for the first book, but this one is amazing!! I am really looking forward to jumping back in this world!
Is there any book you think I missed? I’d love to hear below!!
