Top 5 Tuesday // Books Set In Space

Top 5 Tuesday

Top 5 Tuesday is a weekly tag hosted by Bionic Book Worm! Please head over and check out her blog!

This week’s topic is top 5 books set in space! I haven’t read a ton of books that have been set in space, I could only really think of three that I really liked. Line-break-small-02

18007564The Martian by Andy Weir

I really only read this because of the hype when the movie was released, but I was pleasantly surprised with how much I loved it! The main character is hilarious and the science-y bits weren’t too hard to understand. I definitely recommend this one!

15790843172 Hours on the Moon by Johan Hartsad

This one was recommended to me by a friend. I didn’t really know what to expect going into it. It ended up being really interesting though! And creepy! I have not read very many books that I can say genuinely freaked me out, but this one really did!

15761655Across the Universe by Beth Revis

This is a trilogy I fell in love with when I was a young teenager. I love the romance and the fact that it takes place on a space ship!! I found that so fascinating! I haven’t read these in forever, but I think I want to reread them soon!!

I could only think of these three books for this week’s topic. Do you have any recs for books set in space?

  2. The Disasters by MK England is pretty good- very guardians of the galaxy.
I really liked the Martian as well. I haven’t had a chance to read his new novel Artemis. But I’ve heard good thing. Three is good! I’ve had lists like this where I had a hard time coming up with enough lol.
