Top 5 Tuesday is a weekly tag hosted by Bionic Book Worm! Please head over and check out her blog!
This week’s topic is my top 5 fantasy books! This wasn’t too hard, but not too easy either! I think y’all will have seen my picks on my blog before, but I can’t help that! I’ve only recently gotten into fantasy. It’s been one of my favorite genres recently though!
To Kill a Kingdom by Alexandra Christo
This book completely blew me away! I was so immersed in the world and fell so completely in love with the main character. I definitely suggest this book for anyone who loves sirens or pirate books! My full review is scheduled to post Thursday!!
The Cruel Prince by Holly Black
This is a book you guys have seen on my blog before. I loved it so much and I absolutely cannot wait for The Wicked King. I loved how morally grey Jude is and I ended up loving Cardan too. You can find my full review here.
Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo
I don’t know how Leigh does it, but she created a world that I long to experience. Which makes the fact that it’s fantasy suck even more! But I absolutely love the world and her characters. If you haven’t realized already, I really really love morally grey characters and Leigh has some of the best!
Girls of Paper and Fire by Natasha Ngan
This has been a recent favorite of mine, but it is absolutely beautiful. The world is breathtaking and the culture within the story is so visceral. I also adore the characters and I always always appreciate queer fantasy. This book is released in November and I urge everyone to check it out! You can find my full review here.
The Raven Boys by Maggie Stievfater
I wasn’t entirely sure that this would fall under fantasy, (I always categorize it under magic realism) but Goodreads says fantasy so I’m gonna include it on this list. The story for The Raven Cycle is okay, but what really makes in amazing to me are the characters. I truly love every single one of the main characters and I am so exited to see more of them in the Dreamer Trilogy.
Did any of your lists match mine? Let me know below!!
I keep seeing GoPaF and TKaK on T5T lists, and I’m so excited to get my hands on them. Great list! 😁

I love your list! The first two I’ve read and LOVED, but the last three are on my TBR. Ugh, my TBR is getting too big to handle.

I think everyone’s TBR is overwhelmingly long 😂

This is a great list! All of these are on my TBR, although I’m hoping to finally tick off The Cruel Prince and Six of Crows from my TBR this month. I’m so happy they’ve been included on your T5T post.

How have I not read any of these books? I have a different series by Holly Black about fairies and a series by Maggie Stiefvater with Werewolves but I’ve never read these. They all sound so good though. I’ll have to check them out. Great post!
